We wanted to thank you SO much for all your support with Bill 1270 - The Down Syndrome Diagnosis Information Act. The bill passed unanimously through both the Senate and House and now is off to the Governor's desk!
We are excited to announce that we have a ceremonial signing of the bill this coming Monday, March 21st, on World Down Syndrome Day! The rules for the signing are that we are only allowed a limited number of people in the actual signing room (these individuals have already been notified that they will be in the room). However, as many people as we want can be in the hall right outside the door, and then we are going to have a no-host brunch at Joe Momma's Breakfast Eatery right after at 10 am to celebrate!
If you would like to come to show support in the hall at the Capitol and/or come to the celebratory brunch we would love to have you! See all of the details below. Please email Mary Murray at email@example.com to let us know if you are coming to either or both of these so we know how many to expect!
