We are excited to offer reading and math tutoring this fall for individuals with Down syndrome. There are 4 reading spots and 6 math spots available so if you want a spot do not wait!
Here are the details:
Who: Individuals with Down Syndrome
What: Tutoring in reading and math, you choose which one when signing up (in reading we have a researched-based program for Kindergarten through the 2nd-grade level and then other great research-based materials for 3rd-grade level and above, in math we will assess the individual's needs and work on specific skills). You can do both if you want.
Where: EIDS Office- 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 30th- December 18th (no sessions on Nov 25/27). Sessions are 45 min long.
Reading times (student goes TWICE a week): Tues/Thurs 5:00 pm, 5:45 pm
Math times (student goes ONCE a week): Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 pm, 6:15 pm, and 7:00 pm
Cost: $440 per child for reading (twice a week) and $220 per child for math (once a week) (must be a registered member of EIDS to be enrolled in the tutoring program)...we will contact you for payment once we get your registration

Please join us for our annual Halloween party and talent show for EIDS members.
Where: The Romance Theater, Rexburg
When: Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 6:30 pm
Wear your costumes!
Popcorn and drinks are provided!
We will be having a talent show at the party featuring performances by our kids with Down syndrome. If your child with Down syndrome wants to perform please sign them up when you register for the party. Costumes are encouraged for all those attending (please keep them family-friendly)

We are excited to have Christmas cards for sale again this year! One of our EIDS parents, Julie Phelps, designed these with the help of some of the hands and footprints from our individuals with Down syndrome! They are adorable and you will not want to miss them! It is $15 for 12 cards. The cards are 5 by 7 inches. Place your order by Friday, October 31st. Cards will be available for pick up at our EIDS office (1675 S Woodruff Idaho Falls, ID 83404) the week of Nov 10th. We will notify everyone who orders the cards of the pickup date and time as the date approaches. Email us at info@easternidahodownsyndrome.org with any questions.

Join us for our EIDS Spud Kings Night! We have a limited number of tickets so register now! Tickets are $12 each. All tickets are digital, we will use the email you provide to send you your tickets. Please register for the total of people joining you. We can't wait to see you there!

We get to do the Spud toss again this year. If you want to join us out on the ice for the spud toss please come to section 113 when there is 5 min left in the 2nd period. Individuals with Down syndrome and their familes are welcome to come on the ice with us.
