Events

We are excited for Fall 2025 Music & Movement. We will meet six weeks in a row on Mondays at the EIDS office starting Sept 15th from 6-7 pm. It is for ages 5 and up and for anyone with a disability. The final event will be cheering at the Hillcrest football game (Lori will keep you posted on this date).

At the classes, there will be great games and music with lots of movement.

We are excited to offer reading and math tutoring this fall for individuals with Down syndrome. There are 4 reading spots and 6 math spots available so if you want a spot do not wait!
Here are the details:
Who: Individuals with Down Syndrome
What: Tutoring in reading and math, you choose which one when signing up (in reading we have a researched-based program for Kindergarten through the 2nd-grade level and then other great research-based materials for 3rd-grade level and above, in math we will assess the individual's needs and work on specific skills). You can do both if you want.
Where: EIDS Office- 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 30th- December 18th (no sessions on Nov 25/27). Sessions are 45 min long.
Reading times (student goes TWICE a week): Tues/Thurs 5:00 pm, 5:45 pm
Math times (student goes ONCE a week): Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30 pm, 6:15 pm, and 7:00 pm
Cost: $440 per child for reading (twice a week) and $220 per child for math (once a week) (must be a registered member of EIDS to be enrolled in the tutoring program)...we will contact you for payment once we get your registration
