New Resource from the American Academy of Pediatrics

We wanted to share with you the new most up-to-date medical information for individuals with Down syndrome from birth to 21 years of age.

The beginning of the updated care guidelines states, "This clinical report is designed to assist the pediatrician in caring for the child, adolescent, and family in whom a diagnosis of Down syndrome has been confirmed by chromosome analysis or suspected by prenatal screening."

There is A LOT of great information in this resource. We encourage you to read and explore it. Then share it with your pediatrician or primary care doctor to help your child get the best care possible.
