Christ the King Parish Hall and Field

We are excited to announce that we are having our first summer camp for individuals with disabilities called Summer Camp for All. We are partnering with the ISU Occupational Therapy program to offer a daytime summer camp for three days, July 18-20. The morning session will run from 9 am to 11:30 am and is for children 5 to 12 years old. The afternoon session will run from 12:30 pm to 3 pm and is for anyone with a disability who is 13 years and older. The camp will be held at the Christ the King Parish Hall which has plenty of parking and great outdoor grass space. It is located at 1690 E 17th Street, Idaho Falls, 83404. There are only 25 spots available for each session so don't wait to register!

At the camp, the campers will get to have fun doing sports, obstacle courses, water fun, crafts, games, and dancing. There will be snacks and water throughout the camp day. ISU OT students will be with the campers to help and assist as needed. For the morning session with the 5-12-year-olds, a parent/caregiver/worker needs to stay. They will not be expected to be involved in the camp, they may work on their own things in our designated caregiver area. For the afternoon session with 13 year and older campers, it is not necessary to have a parent/caregiver/worker stay, but a waiver must be signed for the parent/caregiver/worker to leave.

Each camper will get a t-shirt and will be well supported at the camp. The cost is $25 per camper. Please email info@easternidahodownsyndrome.org with any questions.
